RCPCH Extraordinary General Meeting – 30th September

The College will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on 30 September in London on the proposed changes to its structure, including constituting a new, multi-professional Foundation of Child Health. The EGM will be part of a CPD event (further details on which can be found here).

Given the importance of this event the college are keen to get as many RCPCH Members along as possible to ensure their voice is heard and their vote is counted.

Full details of the event can be found here – this is a rare event and will have important implications for the college. This link has some of the previous thoughts of the RHG.

All the best

Learning to make a difference – quality improvement for consultants

Consultants have a critical role in making a difference and trainees aspire to be like them. We need to guide our trainees to improve the quality of healthcare using quality improvement techniques and putting them into action. The knowledge and skills to do so may feel a little unfamiliar and daunting. The Royal College of Physicians is providing the opportunity for consultants of any specialty to learn more about this in an interactive day long workshop with doctors who work at the frontline but also have experience using these techniques and what works and doesn’t work!

It is on 30th September at RCP london.
